[Why on Earth did Apollo not do this three thousand years ago? One hand rests on Orpheus's ass--a very nice ass--and the other one holds his head close]
[Orpheus certainly would have been amenable back then. His hand slides over Apollo's back, stroking down to the hem of his shirt to creep up under it.]
[He goes to say "not for me it's not" but Orpheus takes care of that. Now that he's shirtless, Apollo takes his time to feel every scar, every muscle of the musician's body. This might just end up in a poem or something--it's just perfect]
[There's not much in the way of scars, other than the one running around his neck, memento of the maenads. He pushes Apollo's shirt up a bit as well, wanting his hands on that warm skin.]
[Orpheus hardly thinks about it anymore, really. And especially now, when he has his hands on Apollo's perfect skin, he doesn't even remember it until Apollo's fingers pause.
[There's a few marks on his skin where Apollo left a scar for appearances only, but otherwise he's just as perfect as Orpheus probably remembers him being. He deepens the kiss, moaning softly]

[He sets his wineglass aside and pulls Orpheus closer]

[His voice is just a little breathless as he shifts closer.]

[He smiles and pulls him in for a kiss]

[Whatever else he was going to say gets very much forgotten when Apollo kisses him.]

Gods, I think you've gotten more attractive in your old age.
no subject
You...are just as beautiful as ever.

[He kisses Orpheus's cheek]
Do you want me to stop, or can I keep going?
no subject
You can always keep going.
[Like he would ever ask Apollo to stop.]

[He smiles and starts pulling Orpheus's shirt off. Get that out of the way, and then more kissing]
no subject
[As soon as his shirt is gone, Orpheus pretty much dives back into the kissing.]

When he brushes against the scar on Orpheus's neck, he stops, suddenly somber]

He pulls back just a bit to look at the god.]

[It reminds him of losing Orpheus all over again. That sadness, that pain, that anger at his brother's cult...it hurts]
no subject
I could hardly expect to get out of that without some sort of mark.

[That's the only response he gets before Apollo goes back to kissing him]
