[He smiles faintly, squeezing Apollo's hand in return.]

[He can't help mirroring that smile.]

[He still feels a bit awkward about the whole thing, but he's trying to make himself comfortable.]

[Apollo comes in with a bottle of wine (not Di's, but suitable) and...a to-go box of curly fries?]

Before you ask, I blame your aunts for my addiction to seasoned french fries.

[Orpheus arches an eyebrow at the fries.]

I guess there are worse things to be addicted to...

It's embarrassing. I'm a four thousand year old god and I love curly fries.

[Orpheus grins.]

[He pulls two glasses out of no where and pours them some wine]

He had that cute young boy appeal when I first agreed to give him a shot. I didn't mean for Bieber Fever to hit.

[He smirks and snags a fry.]

I didn't want to sleep with him, Orpheus.

[He just laughs a little]

He was too young, even for me.

[golden_lyre]

Wise choice. I'm not sure he'll grow up well.

I've looked. He won't.

[He downs his glass of wine at that because ugh. It's going to take a lot to get him drunk, so he's not worried too much]

[Orpheus holds his glass somewhat awkwardly. He wants to pour out libations, but he really doesn't want to make a mess in Apollo's room.]

Cuteness never seems to last.

It's a bit overrated, anyway.

[He gestures]

If you'd like, you can pour libations. I can clean it up without moving.

[Orpheus ducks his head, smiling, and pours out a few drops.]

Thank you. I'm afraid I'm a little rusty on protocol. It's been a while.

It's fine. The thought means just as much.

[The drops dry up before they hit the ground]

Besides, this is less messy.

So many things are these days.

[He's not sure that's a good thing, but he's not going to dwell on the thought as he takes his first sip of wine.]

No, less messy than they used to be.

Really? I find all the government and expectations and expanse of everything now to be much messier than the old days.

No, I mean literally less messy. Nothing's quite as visceral as it used to be.
